Physical and Chemical Properties | This strain is an important hormone extracted from calf and pig thymus. Thymosin component 5 is mainly used abroad, which contains a variety of polypeptides with a relative molecular mass of 1000-15000. The porcine thymosin component 5 used in my country is a mixture of different protein compositions with an isoelectric point of 3.5-9.5, and its relative molecular mass is below 15000. Thymosin component 5 has immune activity, specifically containing active ingredients such as thymosin α1, thymosin α5, thymosin α7, thymosin β3 and thymosin β4. Its main function is to promote the differentiation and maturation of T cells and induce pre-T cells (Lymphatic stem cells) transform into T cells, and then differentiate into T cell subsets with various special functions, increasing and adjusting the body's immune function. Thymosin is stable to heat, and the biological activity does not decrease when heated to 80 ℃ in a short time. |
